Should I get a pole tent or frame tent?
The easiest way to decide what style of tent is by deciding what the tent will be placed over. If the tent will be on concrete or needs blocks instead of stakes, then you will need a frame tent. If the tent is installed on grass or asphalt (a surface that the stakes can penetrate), a pole tent can be used.
Most municipalities require a tent permit be obtained for tent rentals. Unless otherwise stated, it is the responsibility of the renter to obtain the permit. However for a small convenience charge Acme Tent & Awning can acquire them for you. Please note that some cities require permits to be acquired 15 days before the scheduled event so plan accordingly. A 50% deposit and signed contract are all that is required to book a tent.
